This hexagonal nut fit a threading of 5/16-18. It is made of zinc plated and thus provide medium resistance to corrosion in both dry and wet environments.

The Grade 5 increases its strength against the pressure and has a tensile strength and hardness of 120,000 psi | Rockwell C25. Furthermore, it features a shear strength of 72,000 psi.
